Hello handymanpaul!

I'd like to know more about how I can help you. Is there a problem after updating your QuickBooks Online mobile app?

I'll appreciate it if you can provide more details. Leave a reply below and I'll respond again.

Yes it’s a QuickBooks mobile app on my iPad & iPhone, both have been working fine until recently when I received an update. For example if I select a customer and go to their details when I come out to return to anywhere else I’ve lost the return arrow to exist. My only option then is to close down the app and start again every time. Also on my dashboard I have lost the option to select current financial year on profit & expenses

Thanks for providing additional details, handymanpaul.

I'll assist you in getting the app up and running.

The app's cache sometimes can cause the application not to function well. Let's run some troubleshooting steps to fix this. You can start by clearing the application's cache files. This will help in resolving the issue and refreshing the system.

  1. Go to Settings and click Setting General iPhone Storage.
  2. Choose an app that's taking up a lot of space.
  3. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, hit the Offload App.

Once done, restart your mobile phone. Then, you can go back to the customer details and try to see if you can now exit from there. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks mobile app to further isolate.

For future reference, I've included the following article to assist you in managing your customer information: Edit your customer details in the QuickBooks Online app.

Don't hesitate to reply if you need further assistance with the mobile app or QuickBooks Online. We're more than happy to help you again.
