Question

Anyone else have issues with the app? Products and customers missing and when categorising expenses the category is missing.

This could be a system glitch, ajmobile.

 

The QuickBooks Online application may need an update, or the cached data may be full. Thus you're experiencing odd behavior such as missing products, customers, and categories. Let's update the app to make sure we have the latest features.

 

In the QuickBooks Online app:

 

  • Android 
    • Select the menu at the top right and choose Settings
    • Choose Refresh Data.
    • Click Yes.
  • iOS  
    • Select the menu at the top right and then choose Help & Feedback
    • Choose Refresh Data.
    • Click Refresh.

 

In the Phone Settings:

 

  • Android 
    • Go to Settings, then select Apps.
    • Choose the QuickBooks app from the list.
    • Select Storage, then click Clear data.
  • iOS 
    • Go to Settings, then choose Settings.
    • Click on General and choose iPhone Storage
    • Select the QuickBooks app, then click Offload App.

 

If you get the same result, uninstall and reinstall the app to rectify the issue.

 

Also, some expense categories aren't available on the app. I'd recommend accessing your account via supported browsers to categorise the transactions.
