Hi pipersofsheffiel, thanks for joining the Community - we'd be happy to help you get this connected in QuickBooks. Please note the following requirements when connecting to HSBC Kinetic for the first time:
- You must select ‘HSBC Kinetic - Mobile Only (UK)’ when connecting the account.
- HSBC Kinetic can not be connected when logged into QBO or QBSE via a browser.
- It must be done using the QuickBooks mobile apps (QuickBooks Mobile & QuickBooks Self-Employed) on a mobile device.
- The HSBC Kinetic app must be installed on the same device.
- After the account has been connected, you can use both the browser and the mobile apps to manage the bank connection, including the 90 day re-consent.
- On QuickBooks Mobile app go Transactions and select Connect account.
- Search for HSBC Kinetic - Mobile Only (UK) and select this from the list when it appears.
- Read through the terms and conditions, then selects Continue.
- From here, you'll be redirected to the HSBC Kinetic app to follow the steps to select your account, and you'll then be redirected back to QuickBooks app.
