Question

Does anyone have an issue with the app losing all their data? I've logged in twice this year and found that non of my data is available and had to reinstall. P*ss poor

It's a pleasure to welcome you to the Community forum. Thank you for expressing your concern. This might be a system glitch, and I'd be happy to assist you in isolating the issue.

 

It's possible that QuickBooks Online has to be updated or that the cached data is full. As a result, you're experiencing unusual behavior, including missing data. To be sure we can recover your data, let's update the app.

 

In the QuickBooks Online app:

 

  • Android 
  • Choose Settings from the menu in the upper right corner.
  • Select Refresh Data.
  • Hit Yes.
  • iOS  
    • Select the menu at the top right and then choose Help & Feedback
    • Click Refresh Data, then Refresh.

 

In the Phone Settings:

 

  • Android 
    • Go to Settings, then click Apps.
    • Select the QuickBooks app from the list.
    • Hit Storage, then click Clear data.
  • iOS 
    • Go to Settings, then choose Settings.
    • Click on General and select iPhone Storage
    • Select the QuickBooks app, then click Offload App.

 

If you get the same result, uninstall and reinstall the app to rectify the issue.
