GoCardless on Mobile app

so i recently moved a client onto Quickbooks who has been using GoCardless for some time, i have the accounts connected and have imported all the customers and direct debit mandates. this client will be using the phone app to do the invoicing and i can't see on the mobile where you select to collect the payment by direct debit, is this something that can be done on the mobile app?

Hello there, @Colin_Four_Ferry.

 

GoCardless can be set up in QuickBooks using a browser before you can collect the payment by direct debit. But this feature is currently unavailable on the mobile app.

 

In the meantime, you'll need to request a Direct Debit payment on the web after the customer's bank has activated the mandate.

Sorry for bringing this one back from the dead.

 

A lot has changed since 2019 - but this has not. Any chance we can have the functionality to send an invoice with direct debit payment methods, from the QB Online app please?

To use GoCardless to collect payments, you would need to access QuickBooks Online through a web browser on a computer or mobile device. From there, you can set up GoCardless as a payment method and manage your transactions.
