Question

I'm on a Google Pixel 3, the app updated a while back to show profitability chart but mine is not correct shows all my income but does not show expenses

The rest of the app seems to be correct, shows my expenses over the last 30days etc and in expenses. I'm using the QB online App, I've tried clearing cach and refresh data

We can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to fix this issue. This way, we can make that you're able to track all of you you've entered in QuickBooks.

 

Let's start by accessing your account through a private window. This is a special mode where the browser doesn't record the browsing activity on the local device. You can access this by pressing the following shortcut keys:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox ).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

Once done, go back to the Profitability chart and check if all are shows are correct. If it works, we can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If not, we can use a different supported browser instead. This might be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.

There are troubleshooting steps you can perform aside from clearing cache and refresh data. I suggest you proceed with making sure you get the latest Android updates available for your device. Check out this link for your reference: https://support.google.com/android/answer/7680439?hl=en.

 

By doing so, we can ensure your phone meets our app requirements for the android version. Once updated, please access your QuickBooks app and check if the data is showing correctly.

 

In case the results are still the same, you can uninstall and reinstall QuickBooks. The process will replace old existing installation files with newer ones.

 

To uninstall, here's how:

 

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings > Apps & notifications .
  3. Tap See all 'xx' apps.
  4. Locate the QuickBooks app.
  5. To uninstall the app: Tap UNINSTALL.

Also, I recommend logging in to your account using a web browser. Try to check if your expenses are showing correctly compared to what's showing in the app.

  1. Log in to your account using a web browser.
  2. Click the Help option in the upper-right corner.
  3. Go to the Search tab.
