I successfully have reauthorised my bank. when banking app sends me back to quickbooks app, it doesn't refresh. the circle just keeps spinning. when I close the app and re open the app, it asks me to reauthorise my bank again.

Greetings, @lauren-charlotte. Let me help you reauthorise your bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

 

Since it doesn't work while using the app, let's try reauthorising your bank account through a browser. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in with your QuickBooks Self-Employed sign-in page.
  2. Go to the Settings ⚙ icon and select Connect bank or Bank accounts.
  3. Click + Connect another account.
  4. In the search box, enter the name of the bank and account type, i.e Lloyds Bank BusinessLloyds Bank Personal, or Lloyds Bank Commercial.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account.

 

Once reconnected, you'll have to review and organise your income and expense transactions.
