Question

Is there a way to change the app from Spanish (my phone's language) to English? (I downloaded the app from Google play in the UK and the app itself opened in Spanish)

I cannot find the option whilst looking myself, nor much information online. I can understand the Spanish, but this is my first time using quickbooks, and would rather learn it in English, as that's the language used by everyone else here in the UK when discussing their finances.

Hello there, Jonah. I'm here to provide some information regarding changing the language in the QuickBooks App. 

 

As of now, changing your language within the app is currently unavailable. Since the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app is in sync with the QBO website, you can change it by navigating to your settings. 

 

Here's how you can do it in Chrome: 

 

  1. Go to the Vertical ellipses located at the upper right corner and choose Settings. 
  2. In the left navigation panel, select the Languages menu.
  3.  Within the Preferred Languages section, click Add Languages.
  4. Enter your preferred language in the search bar icon, then press Add. 
  5. Click the Vertical ellipses that align with your selected language. 
  6. Tick the Display Google Chrome in this language. 

 

Alternatively, you can also use translation tools if following the steps above doesn't change the language in your QuickBooks account.
