QuickBooks online connected apps
Hello QuickBookians,
Small translation busness in the UK here.
We deal with small projects (typically £30 to £3,000). Due to growth, we start to generating quite some project admin.
Typically, we email the client a quote for every project - yep, even the small ones ;-(.
Client confirms by return of email, project becomes live, we gather all the details (name of file, planned delivery date, name of linguist in charge, cost, plus a couple of text fields) on a shared Google Spreadsheet (that the project manager, the client and myself can access at any time).
We invoice each month, copying manually the infos from the Googel Spreadsheet into QuickBooks online. Urgh. All very 19th century.
We are looking for a 3rd party app that:
- 1./ would not cost a bomb and require a PhD in applied IT to run
- 2/ could "keep everything under the same roof (e.g. we enter the w quote, it gets emailed to client, client click a link for acceptance, we get notified, process the project, mark project as good to invoice on teh app and end of the month, the app gather all monthly projects, sends them direct to QBonline so we can raise the invoice).
We looked at Quotient, feels like this app does "so much more – but not quite what we are after. Any ideas?
