There is lots of data missing from the mobile app including accounts. Advice please.

Hello there, @chris-webber.

 

I'm here to ensure you can find the missing data together with the accounts so you can get back to working order.

 

We can perform basic troubleshooting steps by clearing the cache and cookies that may have caused this unexpected behavior. Let's reset to refresh your QB online mobile app. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help (?) icon at the upper right.
  2. Choose Reset App Data.
  3. Wait for the process to complete, then close the app.
  4. When it reopens, right-click the app and Run as Administrator.

 

If you continue to get the same result, uninstall and reinstall the application to start with a clean slate. 

 

To remove:

 

  1. Drag the QuickBooks Windows app from the Applications folder to the Trash icon.
  2. Go to Finder, then choose Empty Trash.

 

After uninstalling the app, reinstall the app by going to either the Google Play Store or App Store, searching for QuickBooks, and reinstalling. Then after it has been installed, open the app and sign in.

 

Also, I'd suggest opening your account through a web browser and checking if the missing data were there together with the accounts.
