Hi, @lianenash-aol-co.

Often time, browser-related issues may cause unexpected behaviour while working with QuickBooks. Thus, you can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to get the black boxes and enter your pins. I'm here to guide you how.

First, I recommend linking your account using a private window. To save you time, you can use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

If it works fine, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh.

Moreover, you can use another supported and up-to-date browser and add Intuit as a trusted site to prevent your browser from potentially blocking site content.

If you're using a mobile app, you can perform these steps:

  • Update your device or refresh the application.
  • Restart your phone and launch again the app.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app.

Once your bank is connected to QuickBooks, it automatically downloads the latest available transactions. And, here's how you can categorize them.
