Utility Billing App????

I have a Holiday park with about 80 units on, we invoice for utilities (Gas, Electric, & Water) by taking meter readings and invoicing appropriatly

 

At the moment this involves a big Excel spreadsheet and lots of double/triple entry of data for myself to first record the data, then calculate usage, & finaly invoice the individual customers

 

is there an app at present that i can use to do this that will sync with my quickbooks?

Hello HAI, thanks for posting about a utility app connection. If you have a look at this link, it will show you all the apps that can be linked into QuickBooks you can also search to see if there is any for a particular thing by entering a key word. We're not able to recommend one over the other being QuickBooks employees however we welcome any QuickBooks users who have an app they use to reply to this thread with recommendations.

Hi there, @jjtyhen.

 

You'll want to go to the Apps menu in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. From there, you can browse and search for apps that have the feature you're looking for. Here's how.

 

In your QBO:

  1. Go to the Apps menu.
  2. Search for the app or click Browse category.

You can also check our QuickBooks App Store for additional reference.

 

I'd also encourage checking our Manage Customers and Income page to learn and read some great articles on managing your income.

Is there any new, current information for this question?  I do bookkeeping for a water utility, and am looking for any applications that would assist me with the tasks involved for this company.

I have a Mobile Home Park with about 50 units, we invoice Tenants for Water usage after taking meter readings.

 

Now I enter meter readings into an Excel spreadsheet, calculating usage, & then I use Microsoft Word's merge capability to create an invoice for each individual Tenant.

 

Is there an app that I can use to do this that will sync with my quickbooks and also email invoices to Tenants?
