Question

Which Quickbooks Apps can I use with Simple Start ?

I’m a Freelance Cameraman working in TV. I signed up for QB Simple Start & assumed that their Self Employed App would best suit me but it now wants to charge me for using it on top of my subscription.

What kind of app do you need to integrate with QBO?

Excuse me I’m a newbie.

There seem to be two QB Apps. So having signed up to Simple Start (as the QB online suggested) in April, I assumed both Apps were free & included in my monthly fee. The Self Employed one seemed most relevant to me, so I started using it for logging my expenses but now it says I need a separate subscription to continue using it.

Hi chrisville-me-com, there are two apps available in the iOS and Android app store: QuickBooks Self-Employed for QB Self-Employed and QuickBooks Accounting: Invoices and Expenses for QuickBooks Online (including Simple Start, Essentials, Plus and Accountant). QB Simple Start can also be used for self-employed individuals, but requires the QuickBooks Accounting app. 🙂
