Hi there, robwillwood.
I'll provide some information about re-authorising your bank connection in QuickBooks Online.
When you re-authorise your account, you'll need to ensure you're the primary account holder.
If the issue persists, I'd suggest disconnecting and reconnecting the account. This refreshes the connection between the bank and the program.
Here's how to disconnect the account:
- Click Banking from the left menu.
- Select the blue tile for your bank account.
- Click the Edit (Pencil) icon.
- Check the Disconnect this account on save box.
- Hit Save and Close.
After that, you can now reconnect the account by selecting the Add account button. For more information, you can check this article: Disconnect Or Delete An Account Connected To Online Banking.
Once done, I suggest editing and categorizing your bank transactions in the For Review tab. It helps you ensure your financial records are accurate. To learn more about this process, visit this article: Categorising Bank Transactions.
In case you noticed you’re not getting the latest transactions, please open this article on how to resolve this: What to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error. This also provides information on how to fix different banking errors.
