Adding a new user

Can I add a user who is not located in the UK.  I have been trying to add a user who is based in India and they keep getting error messages when responding to the invitation.  I tried adding them first as a user - error message and then as an accountant - where the error message specifically said they couldn't be an accountant to UK Quickbooks if they are outside the UK.  Just want to know what the rules/limitations are when adding a non UK based user or accountant to a UK account.  Just to be clear I am within our limit of number of users and accountants so that is not the issue.

You should be able to invite another user in India. Ask them to use another email address. If you want to invite a user as the accountant, they have to sign up for a QBOA UK account.

Hello SRPR, thanks for posting on the Community page, so you can't add someone from another country region to a UK QuickBooks, it has to only be UK users to use the UK product.

Is there a solution to this?  Can we buy an international subscription to Quickbooks so that we can have UK users and international users?  Or do we have to move to an alternative product?

Hello SRPR, we suggest you contact our global support they might be able to tell and help you more, as for the UK QuickBooks you can only have UK users can't cross regions.
