Can't save new user

I am trying to add a new user but when I enter the name and email address, the 'save' button remains dimmed and won't let me proceed...

Any idea as to what am I doing wrong? I am the sole user at the moment and am master admin + accountant.

By default, you should be able to add a new user profile since you're the master admin. To isolate the issue, you can perform some basic troubleshooting. At times, the stored cache and cookies in your browser get corrupted causing unusual behaviors, like runtime errors and unresponsive buttons.

 

First, you can try accessing your QuickBooks account in an incognito or private browser. This process will help you determine if it's a browser-related issue since this mode doesn't save site data and web searches. You may use these keyboard shortcuts to launch this window:

 

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Microsoft Edge
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari

Once you're in, create a new user profile again. If you're able to save it successfully, you'll have to go back to your regular browser and then clear the accumulated cache to improve the system performance. You can also switch to other supported web browsers as an alternative.
