Hello there, @penny.brass.
In the QuickBooks Online Accountant account, you'll have an option to permanently delete a client. However, doing this process doesn't stop their QuickBooks Online subscription automatically.
If you consider doing it, make sure your customer assigns a new primary admin (if you're currently the primary admin for your client's company).
Then, if the client is part of your wholesale discount plan, ensure to remove them. Your client gets full access to their accounts after they update their billing info. Afterward, you can permanently delete your client. You can refer to this article for the complete steps: Manage clients in QuickBooks Online Accountant.
To stop your client's subscription, you'll have to sign in as an admin user in your client's QBO account. Then, follow the steps below.
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select Account and settings under Your Company.
- Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
Note: if you don't see the Billing and Subscription tab, then you bought QuickBooks through a mobile app store. Please refer to this article: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription. - In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online. If you're cancelling a trial, select Cancel trial.
- Follow the onscreen steps.
You can check this article for more information and learn what happens to your data after cancellation: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription.
