Cancel/downgrade account

I'm trying and failing to change my qbo account to the sef employed version. Either by cancelling account and starting fresh or downgrading account. I think I'm still on the free trial as I only set account up last week

  2. Select Subscriptions and Billing under the Profile column.
  3. If you’re seeing the Subscribe button, then you currently have the trial version.

 

Once verified, you can cancel the subscription from there whether you have the trial or the standard version of the application. Before that, ensure you are the primary or company admin to have the option. Then, you can start with the steps below:

 

  1. In the Subscription and billing window, tap the Cancel Subscription or Cancel Online.
  2. For the trial version, select Cancel trial.
  3. After that, follow the on-screen steps to finish.

Moreover, there’s no option to downgrade your subscription to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) as they’re two independent programs that function differently. If you want to switch to QBSE, you must cancel your QBO account and subscribe to the Self-Employed version.
