Cannot delete data or unsubscribe

I am very frustrated with quickbooks,

I decided after a couple of minutes that quickbooks was not the app for me, and so I deleted the app. 
I kept receiving emails constantly and therefore thought I would just unsubscribe from them only to realise there is no unsubscribe button.

so I searched how to delete the account and found on an article that you delete your data through the account management. So I did this, only to now keep receiving emails to say ‘there’s something for you to do in your account first’. Now I’m fuming because I cannot for the life of me found out what.

I work in a very heavy regulated FCA role and know the importance of data protection and our rights as consumers. This is very misleading and unacceptable. I am reporting this however I wondered whether anyone else has noticed these issues?

Since you've already gone through the account management page, it's best to contact our Data Team this time. They are the best persons to help you manage your data. You'll find their phone number in this article: Delete your data.

I'm sad to know that you unsubscribe from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Rest assured I'm here to help and make the process easy for you.

 

I recommend reinstalling the app and cancelling your account. Let me show you how.

 

For IOS devices:
 

  1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Select your Name to access your Apple ID.
  3. Click Subscriptions.
  4. Select QuickBooks Online.
  5. Click Cancel.

 

For Android devices:
 

  1. Go to the Play Store app.
  2. Select the Profile icon.
  3. Click Payments & subscriptions, then select Subscriptions.
  4. Select the QuickBooks Online app.
  5. On the Manage subscriptions window, click Cancel subscription.

I have already done this. Yet I am still receiving emails constantly. I have no subscription.
