Let me help you with that, @steveparker66.

First, I'd like to know if you were able to connect or link your account in QuickBooks Online before?  If you're referring that your bank feed has stopped downloading your transactions, we can manually update it. This is to refresh the connectivity between your credit card account and QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Within the Banking tab, highlight the credit card account.
  3.  Then, select Update.

If the same thing happens, please make sure to check your bank's website if there's an ongoing issue on your bank's end. Also, you can share with me the name of your bank or financial institution and error so that I can check more resources here and provide you with accurate details about your concern.

On the other hand, if you're just about to connect your account in QuickBooks and you couldn't find it in the bank lists, let me share with you the reasons why:

  • Your bank has multiple names on our list. Make sure you have selected the correct listing or have tried all possible links. Search by the banking sign-in URL to ensure you are using the correct listing.
  • Your bank does not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs business accounts).
  • Your bank is not a participating financial institution.

If your account isn't supported yet, you can request a support of your bank. For more details, please check this article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking

In the meantime, you can manually upload the bank transactions into QuickBooks Online. You can on click this article on how to perform the steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Check this link to learn more about handling bank transactions: Categorise and match online bank transactions.

Visit again if you need anything else with your linked accounts and transactions in the program.  Take care and stay safe, steveparker66.
