Crashing when a new tab is opened, have to re enter password and still can only open one tab

I can help get you back and running by performing some basic troubleshooting steps.


You'll have to clear the cache of your QuickBooks Online app to boost its overall performance. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to Help at the top menu bar.
  2. Choose Reset App Data.

If you continue to experience the same issue,  uninstall and reinstall the application. The latter is required when QuickBooks Online app's function is damaged and only a fresh download will correct the problem.

 

To uninstall: 

 

  1. Click on the Start menu.
  2. Go to the Settings tab, then select System.
  3. Choose Apps & features on the left panel.
  4. Select your QuickBooks Windows app and select the Uninstall button.

To reinstall, check out the QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac article for detailed instructions. You can go directly to the How do I install the app section and select the steps for your operating system.

 

You should be able to open a new tab smoothly.

I am also having this problem but it seems to occur some days but not others so very annoying and confusing at the same time.  Is there any end in sight for a resolution as this seems to have been going on for 6 months at least.
