Enterprise made to work in the UK

Will QB Enterprise work in the UK? I know they discontinued the UK-specific edition a while back but i wanted to know any reason why the international version wont work? Ive some large desktop clients who would pay the premium for this and they are certainly too complex for QBO! I can handle the idea of filing UK VAT returns via bridging software and presumably tax codes can be customised to replicate UK VAT rates. Honestly dont know what else to suggest to these clients... they're talking about moving to Sage, heaven forbid!

If your company is based outside of the UK or Ireland and you use UK QuickBooks for Desktop, it will no longer be accessible in your region.

You can let your clients keep a backup copy of their desktop data file if they're affected. After that, you might want to consider letting them switch to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Why don't you consider using QB Desktop US Premier or Enterprise instead for your clients? You may also consider offering them to use QB Desktop 2022 US (Premier) Accountant edition with the one time license (non subscription). They can buy a license for 10 users but only up to 5 users can access the same company file at a time in the multi-user mode. They can purchase the license without credit card from several partners.
