Error code -12442 trying to downgrade and every time we try to alter anything to do with tracking stock this error code comes up.QB s

Been trying for over a month now and no one at the support team can help. The replies I get from them the links to what they have found out never open. So annoying. I just need to down grade.

The unexpected behavior might be caused by some browser hiccups. In cases like this, we'll have to perform some basic troubleshooting. Let's start with signing into your account through a private browser. It's the best place to isolate web issues. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N 
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you're able to downgrade your account using the private browsing session, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the program.

 

On the other hand, you can use a different browser to narrow down the issue.

Just to clarify one crucial thing. Did you enable the multi currency and do you wish downgrading to QBO Simple Start or else?

Multicurrency has never been enabled
