Every time I log out of QBO, I need a Verification Code to log back in today. This has not happened before - why is this please

Hi user83197, thanks for posting on the Community. We don't currently have any similar reported issues for this - have any browser settings been changed or updated on your device?

Hello Community users, we thought we'd pop in and add some detail to this thread regarding verification codes when logging into QuickBooks. Generally it will sporadically ask for extra verification when logging in. It will ask if it does not recognise the device as being used before or if you are using a different/private browser or if you have cleared the cache on your browser.

 

If as above and it asks every time for verification it may be because 2 step verification has been turned on. You can check this by going to the accounts page here, signing in and then going to sign in and security>sign in info>2 step verification. If it shows as on and you wish it to be off, follow the steps to turn off.
