Question

Hello, I have two accounts with HSBC. But it looks like I can only connect the current account to QBO. How can I connect the saving account?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, anli-li.

It looks like we can't access your bank from the current browser. Let's try using a different browser to connect your HSBC account with QuickBooks.

Please check to see the list of browsers supported by QuickBooks Online below:

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you've tried, anli-li.

I'm here to share some information about connecting HSBC bank in QuickBooks Online. We're updating our bank feeds to comply with the new Open Banking guidelines. With that being said, we're removing the standard connection to all banks as of March. For banks that have available open connections, a prompt will appear within Quickbooks to upgrade the existing feed to the new open connection. You can check out Open Banking for more information.

In the meantime, you can import your bank transactions into QBO.  I've listed our supported file formats below:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)

I'm also including these links about Open Banking

If you have any other QuickBooks related concerns, you can post them anytime here. We're always here to help.
