Hi. I am new to quickbooks and new to Ebay selling. I have the Ebay by Quickbooks app. I am wondering how to make my inventory within quickbooks be updated after a sale

I am using SKUs, I thought to help with this issue. But my inventory counts are not changing in quickbooks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi the problem is that I don't have the option to reconfigure the app connection. I have a settings section but that doesn't have anything about inventory updates as you describe. For added information I do have the QBO subscription tier that tracks inventory.

1. Before you begin configuring your workflows, you need to establish your synchronization preferences. You will need to set up the following:

 

  • Account timezone
  • Integrations starting date
  • Email sync report options

 

2. You will encounter various workflows that you may choose to implement, all of which are optional. This guide will feature selected workflows to showcase the full potential of the setup process:

 

  • Sales from eBay will be transferred to QuickBooks Online in the form of an invoice.
  • Products from eBay will be generated in QuickBooks Online.
  • Stock level modifications from QuickBooks Online will be updated on eBay.
