How do i change the number in my account?? It’s already changed in the App but when i do recovery email it keeps messaging my old number that is already inactive!

Hello, justthebakernadi. 

 

I'll share a solution to help you update your phone number (aside from doing it within QuickBooks Online). 

 

Make sure to change the phone number from the Intuit Account Manager page as well. This is the reason why the system is still messaging your inactive phone number (despite changing it in QuickBooks Online). 

 

Here's how to change it: 

 

  1. Go to https://accounts.intuit.com/ and sign in using your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Sign in & security tab.
  3. Select the Phone section, then edit it to the new number.

 

If it shows the new number but the system keeps messaging your old one, you'll want to contact our support. They'll pull up your account and force the system to accept the new phone number. 

 

Here's how to reach them: 

 

  1. Click the Help menu.
  2. On the chat box, type "talk to a human."
  3. Select the Contact a human option.
  4. Click the Live Chat / Call me Back link.
