Hello there, kimcmyers.

I'm here to ensure you can invite your accountant to access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. This way, you'll be able to share your company transactions and help you in managing your books.

You can share information with your accountant by adding him/her as an accountant user or a company admin. Once you invite him, he'll receive an email invitation that contains the details on how to access your account.

If your accountant has a QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) account, then you can invite him as an accountant user. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage Users.
  3. Go to the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Type in your accountant's email address they used for their Intuit account.
  5. Click the Invite button.

On the other hand, if he/she has a QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, you can invite him as a company admin. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Tap Manage users.
  3. Under the Users tab, click the Add user button.
  4. Enter your accountant's details, including their registered email address.
  5. Click Invite.

In case your accountant doesn't have an Intuit account yet, he'll be routed to create his account either QBOA or QBO once he accepts your invitation through email.

To learn more on how many users and accountants you can set up depending on your QBO subscription, you can check out this article: How many users can I set up?. It also contains details about removing a user and upgrading your plan.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.
