Question

I cannot connect my NatWest bank account with my QB account. It fails at the last minute and takes me to a broken intuit page. It’s so frustrating, I can’t seem to get past it.

Let's perform some steps so you'll be able to connect your bank, hollyapjensen-gm.

May I know what is the exact error that you're getting? Moreover, there are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that may cause some unusual responses. You can try logging into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window (incognito). Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once you're able to sign in, you can go back to your default browser and clear the cache to speed up the loading process.

Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

After you've successfully connected your bank, QuickBooks automatically downloads the latest transactions. For more information on how to categorise transactions, please visit this article: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please know that I'm only a few clicks away if you have any other issues or concerns. I'm always here to help. Enjoy the rest of the day!
