I changed my password on .gov and now I can't connect to MTD, I am able to log in and try to connect but I get an error screen, Ive removed Intuit from .gov

Hi there, krisrothwell.

 

You'll need to manually change your HMRC credentials in QuickBooks Online to reauthorize or connect to MTD again. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Proceed to the Advanced tab, then click Making Tax Digital.
  3. Temporarily turn off or disconnect MTD, then click Save
  4. Turn it back on and enter the new password.
  5. Click Save again.
