Question

I have around 150 licenses (accountant billed) I always get into a muddle when I am trying to allocate one to a client. Can someone guide me on the process please?

I have around 150 licenses (accountant billed)  I always get into a muddle when I am trying to allocate one to a client.  Can someone guide me on the process please?   If I go to edit it seems to take me to a set up menu then asks for a subscription and I have a terrible job getting back to my practice!

 Hello Roy22,

Welcome to the Community page,

If you follow the steps below to add a client to a license in QuickBooks

1.In QuickBooks Online Accountant, go to the Clients menu.

2.Find the client and select Edit client on the license you wish to use.

3.Change the placeholder name to the client’s name and then select Save.

4.Once the client’s name has been changed, select the Go to QuickBooks link in the toolbar to go into the client’s QuickBooks Online file, and change the company name within the license.

5.If you want to add the client, ask them to invite you to become their accountant by going to Settings ⚙, then Manage users
