Question

I have just paid for and renewed my subscription but I can't save anything. I see a message in my settings that says "Subscription error please check back later".

Hello, startermotors.

You might be experiencing some browser issues. When you visit a website, the cache will store any information and take the space on the computer's memory. If it overloads, it will cause unusual behavior. I've got some steps to help this get fixed.

To start with, let's access QuickBooks Online through a private browser. This is the best place to identify web issues. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

If you're able to save your task, let's go back to your main browser, then clear its cache. This helps us refresh the program. As an alternative, you can also try using another supported browser.

I'll share this article about managing your account in QuickBooks Online: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

I'll lend a helping hand if you need anything else. Keep safe always, @startermotors.
