Welcome to the Community, @chloetaylorpiano. I'm here to help ensure you're able to reconnect your NatWest bank account in QuickBooks.

Please note that when you disconnect your bank from QBO, the bank stays active but will not download transactions. Hence, the system might still have your credentials which is why it causes some errors.

First off, I'd recommend you clear the browser's cache to refresh the connection between your bank and QBO, then follow the steps to reconnect the bank account.

I'd also appreciate it if you can share with me the specific error code or message so I can provide you the best resolution in reconnecting your bank.

To fix specific banking errors, check out this help article: What to do if bank transactions won't download or there's a bank error and refer to Step 3: Fix specific banking errors

Let me know if you have additional concerns. We're always delighted to help.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried clearing the browser cache but it hasn’t helped. I think the error code is 111?

Thanks for going through the recommendation by my colleague above, @chloetaylorpiano.

Since the issue persists, I suggest getting in touch with our Support Team. From there, they can securely check the connection between your bank and QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Here's how to get in touch with them in your QBSE account:

  1. Select Assistant.
  2. Type in Talk to a human.
  3. Choose your preferred way to get in touch with them either Message an agent, Call an agent or Get a callback

You can also check this article for reference: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

In the meantime, you'll want to import your transactions to your QBSE account. Then, you can create a rule to easily categorize it in your account.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with. I'm more than happy to help you. Have a great day and more success in your business!
