I can walk you through canceling your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account, blooming_marvell.

 

It seems like you are upgrading your account to QuickBooks Online (QBO) version. We can follow the steps below in canceling your QBSE account that you bought directly from QuickBooks or Intuit: 

  1. Click the Gear icon
  2. Choose Billing Info.
  3. In the Cancel section, tap Cancel now.
  4. Enter the reason for your cancellation.
  5. Tap Cancel subscription.
  6. Press Cancel subscription again.

 

If you've bought it from the Apple app store or Google Play, your monthly subscription is with them, so you’ll need to cancel the account from there to cancel this auto-renew. Just go to your Google Play to cancel the account. Here's how: 

  1. Open Google Play on your phone or tablet,
  2. Sign in to your Google account and click the menu ☰ icon.
  3. In the Subscriptions section, look for QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  4. Select Cancel.
