Question

I subscribed to the wrong version of app just 20 mins ago (business 1) & paid 6 months upfront.I then subscribed to the correct one (self-emp). Can I request a refund?

Yes, you can request for a refund, Lisacanny.

 

First, we'll have to cancel the incorrect subscription. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, click Cancel.
  5. Follow the instructions to cancel the account.

The account admin will receive an email confirming the cancellation. 

 

Once done, I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support, so you can request for a refund. Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "Request a refund" in the description field, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select either Start a chat or Get a callback
