Question

I’ve been charged a full price subscription when I signed up to a reduced one. How can I speak with an agent?

It was meant to be 99p per month for 6 months then £14.99 per month but I’ve been charged £14.99 from the beginning. I cannot find a way to talk to a QuickBooks agent. The options keep taking me to articles or community help and I really need to talk to someone who works for QuickBooks.

Welcome to the Community, Christine. Let me share some information regarding price subscriptions on QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Firstly, were you on a free trial before you decided to subscribe? If so, once you subscribe after the trial period, you will be charged the full amount for the subscription. This is because when you start, you opt for either the free trial or the discount available at that time. Additionally, here are the steps on how you can contact our support team:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  4. In Search, select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat all day, M-F.
    • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.
    • Call us. M-F, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and S-S, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
