Thank you for reaching out to us here in the Community. I'm here to help you cancel the QuickBooks subscription.

 

We’re sorry to see you go. Still, we want to make the process as simple as possible. Before performing the cancellation, I recommend clearing any pending payments or forms first to avoid any penalty.

 

You can also print out or export the necessary reports for future reference. Once done, you can follow the steps below on how to suspend your payroll in QuickBooks:

 

  1. Open a web browser on your computer, not a mobile device.
  2. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user.
  3. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner, then select Account and settings.
  4. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
  5. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online
  6. Follow the onscreen steps.

 

Once canceled, you'll have access to your data for six months until the end of the tax year.
