I have created an account with the wrong email, and have then gone on to create an account in the name of my employer whilst signing up with my work email and I can't access the relevant information or seem to deactivate my account

It's nice to have you here in the Community, @ben-woodland-the. Helping you with accepting your employer's invitation and setting up your account is my goal today. I'm here to guide you along the process.

You don't need to worry about this. You can disregard the account created with the incorrect email address. For now, you may reach out to your employer and ask them to send you the invite again to isolate the issue. Make sure to input the precise details when you receive the email invite.

If this is related to payroll and payslips, they can do it by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu, then select Employees.
  2. Select the employee you need to resend the invitation.
  3. Select 'I want to reinvite (employee name)'. You can edit the employee's email address here if you need to.
  4. Tap Save and invite.

I'm also adding this material for more information: Invite employees to QuickBooks Workforce to see payslips, P60s and more.

On the other hand, if it's about the user's invitation to access your employer's QBO account, they can do it through the Manage Users window. Check out this article for more information: Add and manage users in QuickBooks Online.

Once completed, you're now ready to access your payslips and P60 documents through the QuickBooks Workforce. Or, your employer's account if you were added as a user.

It's my pleasure to share these details with you today. If you have other questions about your account, let me know by leaving a comment below. I'm always here to help. Keep safe!
