If you already created a daily sales template, all you need to do is to manually enter the backdate in the Sales Receipt date field. You can also use this field to add the date of the current day sales entry. Before doing so, please note that this may affect your VAT.
Here's how:
- In QuickBooks Online (QBO), go to the Gear icon at the top right to get to the Recurring Transactions.
- Locate the template, then tick Use under the Action column.
- Type the date in the Sales Receipt date field and enter the other necessary information.
- Hit Save once done.
