In the uk most websites will help you find an address if you enter the Postcode. Can quickbooks find addresses from just entering the Postcode?

Yes, finding an address using post codes is available in QuickBooks, pestcontrol.

QuickBooks has a link to Google Maps, where you can enter the post code of the address you want to search. This link is located in the address section of the Customer and Supplier Information pages.

You can always visit us back here if you have other questions.

Thank you.  Not really what I was looking for actually.  Let me explain.  Instead of typing in every new client address (could be 20 a day), most 'systems' let you put in the postcode and the system will then list all the addresses that us that postcode.  you can then choose one and it will populate the address field correctly.  Xero has it, Sage has it, every other website that we use has it.... so it must be on QB somewhere....?

Quickbooks Desktop had a features to search customers by name, address, telephone number and postcode.

Quickbooks Online only search by customer name. Nothing else is working for me. Unless I am doing it wrong?

Thanks for joining this thread laleirina1, currently, the search function for customers filters by customer name only and not any other customer details. We'd be grateful if you could share any feedback you have on this by selecting the Cog > Feedback within your Online account - this way it will be submitted directly to our developers to review. 👩‍💻
