My account is showing to pay for a subscription when I’ve already paid for it

Let's find out if you've successfully paid for your subscription, danielrichardson.

 

Sometimes, this happens if the payment you've made isn't successful. You'll want to make sure you're using a credit or debit card for your QuickBooks Online subscription payment to be successful. Also, accepted cards include Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. If you're not using one of these cards, you'll want to update or change your payment method, I've outlined the steps below for your guide:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Select Settings ⚙, then Account and settings.
  3. Select Billing & Subscription.
  4. Next to your payment method, select Edit ✎.
  5. Update your credit card info.
  6. Review the address for your credit card. It must be the same one that appears on your credit card statements.
  7. When you're done, select Save.

In relation to that, you'll also get the message to pay for a subscription if you have subscribed from App Store. If so, you'll have to update your payment information with Apple Billing. Here's how:

 

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch

  1. Go to Settings, select your name, then select iTunes & App Store.
  2. Select your Apple ID, then select View Apple ID. You might be asked to sign in.
  3. Select Payment Information.
  4. Update your payment information to reflect your current financial institution.
  5. Select Done.
