My bank feeds aren’t updating automatically? Every time I log in I have to complete the secure connection exercise in order to receive latest transactions?

The financial institution that integrates with QuickBooks has different security practices. This can be the reason why you perform the secure connection exercises before receiving the latest bank transaction. 

However, QuickBooks Online launches Open Banking. It's the practice of sharing financial information electronically, securely, and only when customers give their permission. 

Once the financial institution utilises the open banking feature in QuickBooks Online, this will let you download your bank data automatically without running the security system.
