No add an accountant feature under my self-employed user.

I've been trying to add my accountant under my self-employed user but can't find it anywhere

Welcome to the Community. I'm here to guide you on how to grant access to your accountant to help you manage your QuickBooks Self-employed company.

 

To invite your accountant, make sure to log in to a web browser on your computer or a supported web browser on your phone. Here's how:

 

1. Go to the Gear icon on the upper right.
2. Under About You, choose Accountant New.
3. Enter the accountant's email address in the field.
4. Click Send invite. A confirmation that the invitation was sent will appear.
5. Click Done.

 

An invitation is sent to the accountant. Once accepted, they are provided with access to your data through QuickBooks Online Accountant.

I'm trying to do that, however, there is no 'ACCOUNTANT NEW' option to click on. Is there any other way to add an accountant to my quickbooks? I'm on quickbooks self employed in the UK.

Let me share additional information on how the accountant feature works in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

Currently, the ability to add an accountant is available to regular web subscribers. Also, this is open for QBSE accounts created by the accountants themselves.

 

 

For additional help, you can always reach out to our QuickBooks Self-Employed Support. Here's how to contact us:

 

  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_GB/contact.
  2. Fill in your contact details, and your question.
  3. Select Ask Your Question.
  4. Save your case number for your reference.

Need to add my accountant so he can see my account

Hello Chrissy,

 

Welcome to the Community.

 

To add an accountant to your Self employed subscription:

 

Go into the cog wheel ( top right hand corner) >under about you >click into Accountant. This will then give you the option to invite your accountant.

 

Let us know if you don't have this feature, If you don't have this feature it's a good possibility that your subscription was taken out from the APP store and will be billed to either Apple or Android - Did you take your subscription out from the APP store?

If you did we could migrate the billing but can only do this if the subscription at the App store has been cancelled.

Thank you for your reply. 
yes I subscribe through The App Store. 
if I cancel it today, will I still be able to use my app? as I still have outstanding invoices, I used it on a daily basis. 
once cancelled, what should I do then?
