Problems entering Activation codes

Good morning. I have already asked a few questions on this subject. I had to move Quickboojs 2010 and have for nearly a month been waiting codes from Head Office. I have been given two codes but no notification as to where and how to enter these codes. The other problem is does Desktop 2010 work on Windows 10. I am absolutely desperate to resolve these issues and ask for guidance on these issues to get my system running.

Have you installed QB Desktop 2010 on your machine? When the installation is complete, the system may ask for an activation code to continue. Did you find this message? You cannot run QB Desktop 2010 on Win 10 natively. You can try installing it in Win 8 compatibility mode to be sure.

Hello, @Mitsos. I'll provide some information when activating codes in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

Before anything, could you please specify the error message when running QBDT 2010. If you've installed QBDT 2010 on your computer, you may be prompted to enter an activation code to proceed. Moreover, if the 2010 version is incompatible with Windows 10, you may consider installing an older version such as Windows 8 for better performance, as Deity Alpha suggested above.

 

If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support Team.  

Here's how:

 

  1. Open your QBDT account.
  2. Head to Help.
  3. Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  4. Enter your issue and click Continue.
  5. Choose to Chat with us or Have us call you.
