Purged account, can't restore previously recommended Chart of Accounts

I purged my accounts data using the instructions here (for an account less than 90 days old):

When prompted to select an industry to generate the recommended Chart of Accounts, I can no longer find the industry I signed up with, which was "Online & Wholesale Retailers".

I've tried the two options available under the "Retail" heading as well as the "Wholesale" option, none restore the same Chart of Accounts I had been recommended originally.

I understand that you want the original suggested Chart of Accounts. When you purge your account, you have the option to see and select the specific type of businesses. This is the reason why it's different from the first Chart of Accounts. 

 

This process will wipe out all data in the company file. What I can suggest is to create a new QuickBooks Online account instead. That way, you can get the recommended Chart of Accounts back for the Online & Wholesale Retailers type. Then, you can cancel your existing account to avoid double charges.

 

Also, I suggest contacting our Customer Support Team to see if they have an option to restore the first recommended Chart of Accounts. You can follow these steps on how to contact them:

  1. Go to Help and select Contact Us.
  2. Enter Purge Company in the question field and select Let's talk.
  3. Choose either Start messaging or Get a callback.
