QuickBooks Desktop: How do I convert a credit to a refund?

Our church has a $159 credit for a few months with a supplier. They eventually issued a refund check. How would I convert my recorded credit as a refund? I wasn't sure if I would delete the credit and record a deposit, or exactly what I would do?

We would advise that you run it by an accountant and do what they say as we are not trained accountants. You can delete it and create a deposit if you wanted, it would work, but we cant say if that's the way you should do it for it to be correct you would need to speak to an accountant.
