Hello

We just need to sk a few questions to determine the situation.

When you go to the client to remove the accountant user is the accounting firms action part blanked out?Are you a separate accountant user?Is that person in the manage users>users section as well?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

No, i can access the accounting firms but the client has set himself up as the accountant (wrong of course!) and also set up the member of staff from our firm who has left. When the client logs in and trys to delete the member of staff set as the accountant he gets the following error:

Sorry this accountant is currently responsible for this company's QuickBooks subscription. Please contact the accountant to transfer the subscription to the company and try again.

Not sure why this error appears as he as the client pays for the sub himself.

The client has set myself up as a separate user.

Thanks

Hello Thanks for that.

As the client is in the accountant section and the manage users section,it is possible that it has caused an issue. Is he using the same email address on both users?

What is the last 3 digits of the company id for that client so we can have a look in our background system at the users.

Thanks
