Who do I contact so I can add my accountant as a user. Its my account but I don't seem to have this feature showing

Let me share the detailed step-by-step guide on how to add your accountant as a user in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

QBO allows you to add users who help with your bookkeeping. To give an accountant access to review your company, you can invite them as a firm user. To do that:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Manage users.
  2. Select the Accounting firms tab.
  3. Enter your accountant's email and click Invite.


 

Your accountant will receive an email with a link to sign in to your QBO company. They'll be prompted to create a user ID before signing in the first time unless they already have an Intuit account.

 

If you're unable to have the option to invite your accountant, I'd recommend reaching out to our QBO support. They have access to a screen-sharing tool to assist you further in adding your accountant as a user. 

 

Furthermore, your accountant has special tools that help manage your books and prepare for taxes. It includes reclassifying transactions, unreconciling accounts, and collaborating on any issues.
