Why am I being asked to 2 step authenticate when signing in when this is already turned off?

Let's double-check and make sure that the two-step verification is turned off. To do that, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
  2. From the left menu, select Sign In & Security.
  3. In the “Two-step verification” section, make sure the Turn off option is selected.
