Why does the Mileage feature only show to the Master Admin? What if the client isn't the Master Admin because they buy the subsciption from the accountant?

My client wants to use the mileage feature but can't see the mileage screen because it is only available to the Master Admin.

Thanks for joining this thread, @Phil_A.

You're correct that adding an owner/admin user type to have access to the mileage feature is the only solution regarding this case.

I recognize how adding a standard user that can access the mileage tracking feature would be beneficial to you and your business. That said, I recommend sending a feature request directly to our Product Development Team. It allows them to review your suggestions and possibly include them in future updates. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top. Then, select Feedback.
  2. Type in your feature request in the description box.
  3. Once done, click on Next.

I've also added these articles about tracking business miles, fixing some issues, and other topics:

Hello @Nortical,

Currently, only the Master Admin can access the mileage tracking feature. I can send a product request to our engineers on your behalf. They are gathering feedback from QuickBooks user to improve the program.

Meanwhile, you'll want to visit our QuickBooks blog to know the newly added features of our product. We also have a guide about vehicle info settings and miles page that you might find helpful. This article contains steps and details about the feature.

Yes, you should pass this on to the engineers. The feature should not have been launched with such a severe limitation. :smileyfrustrated:
